Dr. Saul Rigau & his team at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, aimed to carry out a study looking at the correlation between frequent rounding and patient satisfaction (PS) scores in the emergency department.
Measure
Patient-provider communication scores served as the baseline for this study.

Feedback from patients indicated that ED staff were not communicating frequently enough regarding wait-time and processes involved throughout the stay. The study aimed to increase PS by utilizing Seyzo to collect and analyze data in rounding.
